A video delivery platform for weddings

Storage, a page, and playback. That is the job after the edit is done.

Vitalii Povolotskyi9 October 2026

14 days free. No card.

You export the wedding film on Thursday and the couple wants it before the thank-you cards go out. A video delivery platform for weddings stores that film, gives the couple a page, and plays it in the browser. momentake is that platform for wedding videographers. The parents open the link on a phone. They do not create an account.

The edit ends when the timeline is exported. The delivery starts when you put the file where the couple can press play. A folder on your desk does that job for you. A page does it for them. You upload the original once. They watch a stream on the gallery, with your logo above the picture.

Four jobs after the export

Storage holds the original. momentake counts original files toward your quota. Transcoding builds the stream the couple plays, and that stream stays outside the quota. The page is the gallery, with a title, a cover, and your logo. Access control is the password, the expiry, and the download switch you set.

An example ceremony master around 18 GB and a shorter film around 4 GB make 22 GB of originals. The upload cap is 30 GB, so the 18 GB master goes up as one file. Free includes 20 GB, so that pair needs more than Free. Basic includes 300 GB. You name the files Mara-Owen-Ceremony.mp4 and Mara-Owen-Highlight.mp4 before the upload, so a parent can say the name out loud.

You export MP4 or MOV, with H.264 or HEVC. You upload into My files. momentake starts the transcode after the upload finishes. The player can show the original while that work runs, so the first open on Wednesday afternoon plays the master you sent. You tell the couple that in the note.

The page on the sofa

On Friday evening the couple sits on the sofa with one phone between them. They open the gallery link from your first message and type the password from the second. The highlight plays first. The ceremony master sits under it for the vows. Your logo is in the header on Free, Basic, Pro, and Max. The video has no watermark.

On Free they watch at 1080p. On Basic, Pro, and Max they watch at 4K. The footer reads "made with momentake". You hide that footer on Max. On Free, Basic, and Pro the footer stays on the page. Pro and Max connect a custom domain, so the address can be one you own. Free and Basic keep the gallery on the address momentake gives you.

The mother screenshots the header because your studio name is on it. She sends that picture to her sister, then she sends the link. The sister asks for the password in the family chat. The mother copies your second message. Two households watch one gallery. You do not upload a second copy of the 18 GB master for the second household.

Checks before the send

  1. You confirm the export is under 30 GB. The file names use the couple and the date. You remove a project version such as Wedding_Owen_v3 before the upload.
  2. You upload the files and add them to a gallery with a cover from the ceremony exit.
  3. You set a password the couple can read aloud, and you set the download switch for the way they asked to watch.
  4. You open the link on your phone, on mobile data, and you play the first ten seconds.
  5. You send the link, then the password, and you tell them the film plays in the browser.

You turn downloads on when an uncle wants the highlight as a file on a laptop. You turn downloads off when the page is for watching. A public file link can point at one original, with its own password and its own expiry of 7 days, 30 days, or no end date. The gallery stays the page the couple reopens. The wider week is in delivering the wedding film. You check the export size before the upload, because the cap is 30 GB on one file.

Plans on 9 October 2026

Free is $0, with 20 GB, 3 galleries, and 1080p. Basic is $6.99 per month, with 300 GB, 4K, and unlimited galleries. Pro is $12.99 per month, with 1 TB, 4K, a custom domain, and unlimited galleries. Max is $29.99 per month, with 3 TB, 4K, a custom domain, and unlimited galleries. You can start a 14-day trial, and you do not enter a card.

Thirteen copies of the 22 GB example use 286 GB. On Basic you have 14 GB unused after those copies. You watch the quota across a season. Each wedding can have a gallery on Basic, Pro, and Max. Free holds 3 galleries. Plan questions sit in the FAQ. The header, the footer, and the domain sit in a white-label video gallery.

Tools that sit beside the platform

A Google Drive folder collects files in a Google account. Drive, Gmail, and Photos share 15 GB on that account. On the United States list dated 9 October 2026, Google One Basic is 100 GB at $1.99 per month, on Google One plans. The couple keeps a Google account, and a shared folder matches a habit they use for other family files. The gallery is the page for the film. Read Google Drive for wedding films and a Drive folder or a client gallery.

WeTransfer is built for a one-off send. You use it on Sunday night for a teaser that one person downloads once. On Wednesday the parents ask for the film again, and you send the gallery. WeTransfer for wedding films describes that one-off shape.

Vimeo is a public portfolio. The couple watches on a Vimeo page. On 9 October 2026 the upgrade page lists Starter at $12, Standard at $25, and Advanced at $75 per seat per month, on Vimeo upgrade plans. Vimeo for wedding films sets that public page next to the gallery you send in a private message.

Frame.io collects frame-accurate comments for editors. You and an editor mark a frame and write a note on that frame. On 9 October 2026 the pricing page lists Free at $0, Pro at $15 per member per month, and Team at $25 per member per month, on Frame.io pricing. The parents watch the finished film on the gallery. Frame.io for wedding delivery keeps the review job with the editors.

If you cancel

You cancel under Settings, then Plans and Billing. The subscription stays active until the paid period ends, and the couple keeps watching. After that date you get a 14-day grace period. The couple opens the link during those 14 days. momentake blocks new uploads in that window. If you do not renew, momentake removes the files and the galleries, and the couple cannot open the link.

On Saturday the parents watch the vows at lunch from the link you sent on Wednesday. In June they open the same page for a cousin who missed the wedding. The platform is the storage, the stream, the page, and the password you set. The film they press is the one you exported on Thursday.

Two tables on Sunday

On Sunday the couple eats lunch at their own table, and the parents eat at the house across town. Both tables use the same gallery link. The couple watches the highlight on a phone propped against a water glass. The father watches the vows on a laptop in the living room. You sent one upload of the 18 GB master. Two households play it.

The cousin who missed the recessional gets the link on Monday. She types the password from the family chat and watches the first dance on a train. She does not get a third copy of the file. The original stays in My files, counted once. If she wants the highlight as a download, you turn on a file link for that one original and you leave the gallery download off.

You check the gallery title before the Monday message. A leftover name from the edit, such as Wedding_Owen_v3, is the line they will screenshot. You replace it with their names and the date. You confirm the logo in the header. You confirm the footer: shown on Free, Basic, and Pro, hidden on Max. Then you send the link.

By November the thank-you cards are out, and the mother opens the gallery for a grandparent who could not travel. The password is the venue name plus the year, the one you wrote in the second message in October. She does not search an inbox for a transfer notice. She opens the page you left. The grandparent watches the vows after tea, on a tablet between the cups.

You name the gallery before that November visit. The title is the couple and the date. The cover is the ceremony exit. The grandparent recognizes the frame in the thumbnail and presses the highlight. The 18 GB master stays in your quota. The grandparent watches the stream on the tablet.

On Monday you open the gallery on your phone and play the highlight for ten seconds. The logo is in the header. The ceremony master is the second film. You have not added a file since Wednesday. The cousin on the train watches the same originals you uploaded, and momentake counts them once. Free at $0 holds 20 GB, so this 22 GB example sits on Basic at $6.99 per month during the 14-day trial. You do not enter a card for that trial.
