Playback on the couple's phone

Sunday at the kitchen table, the father props the phone against the fruit bowl. momentake plays the wedding film in the browser, so you skip the app and the account form. On Free, momentake plays the film at 1080p, and on Basic, Pro, and Max, momentake plays it at 4K. The mother asks him to replay the vows, and he scrubs on the gallery.

Your logo, the footer, and the domain

You place your logo on the gallery on Free, Basic, Pro, and Max. The video carries no watermark. The footer reads "made with momentake", and you hide that footer on Max. On Free, Basic, and Pro the footer stays. Pro and Max include a custom domain, so the parents can open the film on an address you own.

Vimeo lists player branding on Standard and above. The help table, updated 8 October 2026, leaves player branding off Free and off Starter. Starter is the card at $12 per seat per month. You can put your logo on a momentake gallery on Free, before you move to a paid plan. The parents read your name on the page, and the film plays clean.

Password, expiry, and downloads

You set a password and an expiry date on the gallery. After that date, momentake stops opening the link. You leave the original download on if the parents want a file for the television in the living room. You turn downloads off if the film should play on the page.

Starter lists password privacy and unlisted links, so Vimeo can keep a video off the public portfolio. You can use that for a private cut. The gallery adds an expiry date you choose, and the couple reopens one page for the master and the shorter film. The portfolio audience stays on the public video.

Storage for a wedding season

Take this as an example you might export after a Saturday ceremony. A ceremony master around 18 GB and a shorter film around 4 GB make 22 GB of originals. momentake counts those original files toward the quota. You can upload the 18 GB master under the 30 GB cap. On Vimeo, free storage for embeddable and non-public videos is 3 GB, so a private 18 GB example does not fit on the free plan.

momentake Free includes 20 GB, 3 galleries, and 1080p, with no custom domain. The 18 GB master fits. The pair at 22 GB needs more than 20 GB. Basic includes 300 GB and 4K. Thirteen copies of that 22 GB example use 286 GB, and you have 14 GB unused. Pro includes 1 TB and a custom domain. Max includes 3 TB and a custom domain. Basic, Pro, and Max include unlimited galleries. Vimeo lists storage of 2 TB, 4 TB, and 7 TB on the Starter, Standard, and Advanced cards.

momentake lists Free at $0, Basic at $6.99 per month, Pro at $12.99 per month, and Max at $29.99 per month. You can start a 14-day trial, and you do not enter a card. On 9 October 2026 the Vimeo plan cards printed Starter at $12 per seat per month, Standard at $25 per seat per month, and Advanced at $75 per seat per month. Those cards printed storage of 2 TB, 4 TB, and 7 TB, seats of 1, 5, and 10, and bandwidth of 2 TB per month on paid self-serve plans.

Vimeo describes the free plan, in the help article updated 8 October 2026, as unlimited storage for public, non-embeddable videos, and 3 GB for embeddable and non-public videos. A private wedding film is non-public, so the 3 GB line covers it. You arrange Enterprise with sales. The cancellation note on the upgrade page mentions subscriptions billed per month and per year. The prices above are the figures the plan cards printed on 9 October 2026. You work on your own, and the Starter card prints 1 seat at $12 per seat per month with 2 TB of storage. momentake Pro is $12.99 per month with 1 TB, 4K playback, a custom domain, and unlimited galleries.
