Your editor pinned notes on the first dance during the color pass, and you answered them inside Frame.io on Tuesday night. You decide Frame.io vs momentake for wedding delivery before you export the master. The couple approved the cut in a text on Wednesday. They want the finished film on a page their parents can open at dinner on Saturday. The comment pins can stay on the edit.
Frame.io can share a review link with the couple, and you may have sent one during the grade. The finished wedding film is a gallery. momentake holds that film on a page with your logo, a password, and an expiry you set. The parents watch in the browser. They do not create an account. The editor keeps the frame notes. The couple keeps the page.
The page the couple keeps
You send the gallery link on Thursday, after the export. The couple pins it in the chat where they approved the cut. On the anniversary they open that page, and the film plays with your name on it. A Frame.io review holds the versions and the pins you shared with the editor. At dinner the parents want the finished film.
momentake holds the wedding film as the object on the page. You upload the master they approved, and you can add the shorter film beside it. The review room stays with you and the editor. You can read the handoff in delivering the wedding film and the logo work in a white-label video gallery.

Playback on the couple's phone
Saturday dinner is at the parents' house, and the phone goes flat on the table between the plates. momentake plays the wedding film in the browser. You do not ask the father to install an app or create an account. On Free, momentake plays the film at 1080p. On Basic, Pro, and Max, momentake plays it at 4K. He watches the first dance without a stack of pins on the picture.
A Frame.io share can show the couple the cut, and the tools around it are there for comments. The editor used those tools on Tuesday. At dinner the parents want the film. The gallery gives them play, your logo, and the file if you leave the download on. The pins stay in the review, where you and the editor left them.
Your logo, the footer, and the domain
You place your logo on the gallery on Free, Basic, Pro, and Max. The video carries no watermark. The footer reads "made with momentake". You hide that footer on Max. On Free, Basic, and Pro the footer stays on the page. Pro and Max include a custom domain. Free and Basic keep the gallery on the address momentake gives you.
The parents see your logo before the film. Frame.io builds the review link for notes on frames. The couple saves the gallery with your studio name on it. A custom domain on Pro or Max puts that name in the address they send to the grandparents. The aunt asks for the first dance after dessert, and the father plays it from the gallery link the couple sent on Thursday.
Password, expiry, and downloads
You set a password and an expiry date on the gallery. After that date, momentake stops opening the link. You leave the original download on when an aunt wants a file for a television. You turn downloads off when the couple wants the film to play on the page.
You can share Frame.io with the couple during the grade, and they can open that review if you invite them. The gallery is the link you send after the approval text. The password and the expiry sit on that gallery. The frame-accurate notes stay with the editor's pass.
Storage for a wedding season
You might export the pair below, and you should treat it as an example. A ceremony master around 18 GB and a shorter film around 4 GB make 22 GB of originals. momentake counts those original files toward the quota. momentake caps an upload at 30 GB, so you upload the 18 GB master as one file. Frame.io Free includes 2 GB, so that example master does not fit on Frame.io Free.
momentake Free includes 20 GB, 3 galleries, 1080p, and no custom domain. The 18 GB master fits on that Free plan. The 4 GB film beside it makes 22 GB, past 20 GB. Basic includes 300 GB and 4K. Thirteen copies of the 22 GB example use 286 GB, and you have 14 GB unused. Pro includes 1 TB and a custom domain. Max includes 3 TB and a custom domain. Basic, Pro, and Max include unlimited galleries.
